My Background

Before entering the insurance field, I worked in accounting, where I developed a strong appreciation for how financial decisions can impact families over time.

That experience taught me how important it is to plan ahead and understand the details that can affect both healthcare and financial security.

Why I Do This Work

My decision to focus on Medicare and insurance education also became very personal.

When my father passed away, our family learned firsthand how difficult things can become when the right coverage and planning are not in place.

He had Original Medicare Parts A and B, but he did not have additional coverage to help with many of the medical expenses he had been paying out of pocket.

After he passed, those costs still had to be handled, along with funeral expenses and other end-of-life costs that were not covered by insurance.

Like many families do, my siblings and I stepped in and took care of everything.

Going through that experience made me realize how important it is for families to understand their options before those moments arrive. 

That experience opened my eyes to how many families face the same situation simply because no one ever sat down with them and explained their options in a clear, simple way. 

It’s a big part of why I do this work today.

My Approach

My approach is built around one simple principle:

Education first. Advocacy always.

I believe people deserve clear explanations, honest guidance, and the opportunity to ask questions so they can make decisions that are right for them.

What I Can Help With

As an independent agent, I work with multiple insurance carriers and help individuals:

• Understanding how Medicare works and what the different parts mean

• Reviewing current Medicare coverage and answering questions

• Explaining Medicare options in clear, plain language

• Providing general education on life insurance and final expense coverage

• Helping you understand next steps at your own pace

Education comes first — enrollment is never required. 

My goal is to be a year-round resource you can turn to whenever questions come up — not just during enrollment season.

When you work with me, my help doesn’t end after enrollment. I’m here year-round to help answer questions, review your coverage, and make sure your plan continues to meet your needs.
